This installation introduced the Atmospheric Mechanism and began displacing weather across cities as a way to spatialize memory. I recreated the weather from two emotionally significant days in Glasgow and installed it in Mexico City, then transmitted it back. The installation includes 2 of 25 concrete sculptures cast from my body, which erode and whiten over time through salt release. Influenced by Joyce’s Ulysses, Plath’s The Bell Jar, and Bergman’s Persona, this work shifted my practice from ruins to weather as material for memory.
